Gender/Pronouns: Male he/him It, that damn bastard

Ethnicity: An Corithe
Birthplace: presumed DaM

Profession: wolfman

Caste: Black Widow Warlord Prince Healer

The Body

Height: 6'4
Body Type: wall of muscle
Hair Color: black
Eye Color: amber

Appearance:
As a man Daithi is all man. From the crooked grin he levels on all he meets and his untamed curls to the beat up boots his socks poke through. Broad shoulders, thick arms and legs, sturdy hips. Tall, towering over his people and people in general. Loping gate and dark gaze parting people without the intensity of his castes. But they don't help. Every angle and curl screams Danger! This one is Danger! Not a warrior but a beast. Prowling and cocky. Sure he should be given what he wants. Capable of taking what is not.

Then he turns. Faster than any An Corithe has a right to. Embracing the pain instead of fighting it. Folding in on his bones until they reform. Then turning up his pitch black muzzle to howl wolfsong. He runs with the wild ones. Black nose and muzzle slowly transforming until it riches his moon-pale tail tip. One color meeting the other around his haunches where he is heavily speckled until the black fades completely.

Either way his canines are sharp and his Craft deadly.

The Mind

Craft Strengths: 15pts + craft point bundle (5)

Edge Walker
Physical Shields
Healing Webs
Regenerative Webs
Physical Enhancement
Craft Weaknesses: Tangled Webs, Poison Crafting, Weapon Empowerment, Psychic shields

Personality:
Smirking violence. A pillar of untamed willfulness. Daithi wants for nothing because there is nothing Daithi is not willing to take. Or force others to give. He is not innately evil, but none have called him good news. Even his parents flinch at the idea of his coming home. He is a darkness and danger that just is. Sometimes serving the pack, always serving himself. Protecting as often as he massacres. How he chooses which to do none know. Maybe not even Daithi himself. Half crazy, they say, since his bloody war with the raiders from the mist.

Or maybe he's just rabid.

Years ago Daithi was a vibrant young man. His quick temper expected but easy to avoid. But the slaying of two packs put him on a blood lust rampage he never quite recovered from. When he peeks through the mist of whatever dark place his heart lies in he is that young man again. Almost charming, if rough. It is not The Kingdom, as some have suspected. Though he comes and goes from there willingly. Using it's secrets to move across impossible barriers in reality. Wherever it is, when he does surface it is to languish in the care of others. Becoming a meek, docile thing in need of petting and soft bodies to keep him warm. But there's no telling when he'll snap and be gone again.

The Backstory

Family:
  • Name | Mother | Tiger Eye to Summer-sky witch
  • Name | Father | Rose to Purple Dusk warlord prince
  • Moira Daire | Sister | Purple-dusk to Sapphire  healer priestess
  • Name | Sister | White to Tiger Eye black widow
  • Name | Paternal Uncle| White to Rose warlord
  • Name | Maternal Aunt | Rose to Opal healer
  • Name | Maternal Aunt | Summer-sky to Purple Dusk witch
  • Name | Cousin | Summer-sky to Opal prince
  • Keavy Villiers | Cousin | Summer-sky to Opal Priestess

History:
First was Moira, clever girl child that made having more easy. Soul mates, happy in their union and strong in their offspring. The Daire's were a force to be reckoned with. Second was another girl child. Less impressive, and often gone for training. Daithi forgets her name but knows her scent. Then was Daithi some years later. Normal then, but now they call him broken.

Which confuses him. Because his Sapphire and Gray are both warm on his flesh. Housed in the same circle of spun gold that hangs from his neck. Like a collar. One with no leash, though he has begged to have them and killed women that could not.

Sometimes on purpose. Usually before he knows it is done. Which was how they came for his people. In the before time, when he was not rage and violence. Before he knew the flavor of a man's heart or the screams of virgin's breaking on spears.

That was after his boyhood, though. Which was not unusual. Spent training because they knew early he was dangerous. Both natural castes tinting his psychic scent before the day he reached into the Darkness' womb and found his Sapphire. Good, steady Jewel. He likes it very much. They taught him other things after that. How to fix what he broke, in case he broke it by accident. Minds. Bodies. Spirits. They made him everything but a queen or priest. Healing is a special art for the An Corithe. One has to know both bodies and the painful liquid state between them. Daithi learned, because they trained him hard to learn it. That way he could move between them. A Warlord Prince was welcome in all packs, and a healer doubly so. He would be safe going from one to another. Less a target than their women were.

And that was why he went to the Mating Meet. Strong young male. He had good potential. And he could fix what broke. They said he could fix it! Spears slipped and girls cried, but he could mend them back again. He was supposed to. But the spears that came were from far away. From foreign people. They took and they took and they blooded the men. So Daithi fought back. As a man, then as a monster. Until they had gone. With sweet cousins and poor aunties thrown over their shoulders. Uncles and more cousins dead. So many. Daithi could not count them. Or bury them. Or fix all that needed fixing.

He doesn't remember what happened after. Who cleaned the blood from his fur or pulled the heart from his growling mouth. Maybe no one did. He was a wolf for a long time after. And even now he likes to be a wolf more than a man. They call him names, the Blood in the villages he crosses. Hellhound. Monster. Thief-dog. More names than one person could need. But he takes them all. And their meat. And sometimes their daughters. Waking in a barn with his body covering young women that cower in fear. Mostly unhurt, sometimes dead.

He fixes them. When he can. But no one can fix Daithi.
